Tim Johnston & Sherry Valentine Road Trip from Seattle, Washington to San Jose, Costa Rica

Seattle based TURBO  PRODUCTIONS  embarks on a journey of a lifetime

The impact of the comments from family members,  friends, business associates, sales clerks, waitresses and casual encounters with others  made Tim and Sherry realize that their upcoming road trip adventure was extraordinary, courageous and of great interest to others.

Here are some of the repetitive comments people made:

• "You can drive to Costa Rica?"
• "Puerto Rico, where's Puerto Rico?"
• "Aren't you afraid of traveling through all of those countries?"
• "Can I go with you?"

Internet research of those having made the trip is scarce with one exception. Turbo Productions' video production experience allows the pair to capture in a documentary way the daily challenges,  joy and freedom being experienced on THE GREAT ESCAPE.  Tim and Sherry's adventurous spirit was influenced by movies such as Shirley Valentine (a woman who went on vacation and stayed) and Duets (a disgruntled unappreciated salesman who went on the road in search of self).

They leave Seattle, Washington for a visit with friends and family along the way expecting to leave the U.S. via Brownsville, Texas following Labor Day weekend. Their route will take them  down the eastern coast of Mexico, crossing into Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and finally arriving in Costa Rica.
