Road Trip from Seattle, Washington to
San Jose, Costa Rica

The impact of the comments from
family members, friends, business associates, sales clerks,
waitresses and casual encounters with others made us realize
that the upcoming road trip adventure we are about to embark on
was extraordinary, courageous and of great interest to others.
Here are some of the repetitive
comments we heard:
- "You can drive to Costa
Rica?"
- "Puerto Rico, where's Puerto
Rico?"
- "Aren't you afraid of
traveling through all of those countries?"
- "Can I go with you?"
Our research of those having
made the trip was scarce with one exception. Our video production
business allows us to capture in a documentary way the daily
challenges, joy and freedom we expect to experience on
THE GREAT ESCAPE.
We leave Seattle, Washington for
a visit with friends and family along the way expecting to leave
the U.S. via Brownsville, Texas following Labor Day weekend. Our
route will take us down the eastern coast of Mexico, crossing into
Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and finally arriving
in Costa Rica.
We've reached a point in our
lives where life adventures take on new meaning. If you want to
